Just saw this thread myself. Nicely done Bear!

Awsome job! Thanks for working so hard for the kids!

Belly, I work in a low income school. We had a fundraiser. Yes Sir, I am a musician. If you ever need a trumpet player (weddings, funerals, concerts, parties, civic events, change of commands, etc) I'm your guy.
Uh huh, I hear excuses... Ha, thanks bro.
Close. I live in the Springs, but I actually work just South of Pueblo (Colorado City/Rye area).
Aww, you're proud of me?! Thanks... (check's in the mail suck up). Seriously though, you're opinion means a lot to me. We still need to get together for lunch or something some time.
I hope I'm making a difference... only time will tell. Thanks!
Would love to hear some stories some time....
Actually no, it was one of the higher profits items for the silent auction. Bunch of country folk, go figure, HAHA.
Whew, I try to undo all the left/liberal brainwashing the other teachers try to instill... I'm the favorite, HA!
A great cause for sure. I have zero musical ability other than steering wheel drumming but music does amazing things. Motivates, relaxes, just makes the world better.
stories???? what kind?
Just doing what I can to stay on this side of the dirt.
Thumbs up.

Oh anything throughout your career. Music stories. I got a few good ones from the season I spent with the Temptations when they were on tour. Or, there's a funny one about Maynard (RIP) when he forgot his horn once. Or, there's always the "this one time at band camp..." stuff, HAHAHA.
Nope, can't ruin this good mood, lol.
Nice work, BB!

My first professional gig was as a stage musician for the Moody Blues. That was 1993. I had no idea who they were, but my parents tried their hardest to get some tickets or something out of me. I didn't understand the big deal. Then I read up on the history of the band.
I was 13 years old and I got paid a whopping $75.
