Hey, like I said before... it's a giraffe I would gladly instruct in the ways of love. ;-)

On a side note - I only dropped into the store once about 5 years ago looking for ammo, and thought Rich was pretty much a dick. Typical gun-store employee - terrible attitude, thinks he knows it all, fanatically disdainful of anything that isn't a "good ol' 1911", and generally conveyed the impression that I was a piece of shit for frequenting his establishment.

I'd love the hell out of her!
I experienced almost the same thing- When I moved back to CO they were the only gun store I really knew of (hadn't really been around CO in 4 years, and that bastard Carl closed Bailey Guns ) and so I went through them to transfer my Glock from NY to here. They were nice enough to do it for free since I was just getting out of the Army, but man, all of them talked shit on the fact that it was a Glock. Rich even said he'd make me a deal and sell me a 1911 so I could throw out my "tactical tupperware piece of shit." I've had my Glock for almost exactly 7 years, not once have I thought it a "piece of shit." I'm sad that my future ex-FIL is such a moron.

Pretty funny indeed. Bad part is, the grabbers will label us like him. Idiots like him make good gun shops look bad, and gun owners as a whole look stupid. I had heard stories that RMGO had pushed hard for a reality show on guns here in the state, and that he had a hand in getting it landed at his dump, err store. Also that he was fixing to go under several years ago.

To question your government is not unpatriotic — to not question your government is unpatriotic.

Good people do not need laws to tell them to act responsibly, while bad people will find a way around the laws.

    But, it's for the children!

The only way out now is to pay all the taxes and penalties immediately and claim accounting oversight. Then it won't look so bad at his criminal trial. As long as you pay the tax on the income, the IRS won't come after you...even if you are selling illegal drugs! The USA is all about the money, always has been.

Yes but owning 6 FA weapons without the stamps is going to get you a $100,000 fine plus 10 years per weapon.

The attitude expressed by most of the Gunsmoke staff while the show was in production was horrible. I got the 3rd degree for asking to work the action and test the lock-up on a used 70's Ruger Blackhawk priced at $299- they treated like it was an NIB unturned Colt SAA. The attention of the staff was focused on all the out-of-towners stopping by for t-shirts and asking about overpriced "gunsmithing" services.

I stopped by last week, and WOW, what a difference... Rich was stumbling over himself trying to help me, and the son was actually doing some work with a hand file on a pistol frame (shudder) in the back room. I think the cash flow has slowed to a trickle...
