    Wife and I are marked as donors. Hopeful thoughts to you for finding a donor.

    My Aunt lived for 25 years on a donated kidney, really let her enjoy a lot of things she would have missed, was a great gift by someone.

    I heard before that when they harvest donor organs the deceased estate is stuck with the bill and insurance won't cover it. I never new if that was true or not? I always wondered about that.

    Never heard that. When my mom suddenly passed we donated her corneas. No bill to her estate

    I'm an organ donor, but I've had a few interesting health problems, so they might want to weary of that. I'll just donate my spleen to science or something.
