Well the one thing to discuss, as I've met a NYS cop that encountered this kind of instance when he was just starting his career, is that suicide by cop is a pretty messed up thing. Someone doesn't want to do the job themselves, so they put that kind of stress and mental trauma on one or multiple police officers... I think there might be a separate part of hell you go to for that.

They would lose in court, waste money in the mean time, but lose. I assume the camera's from the cop cars would be enough to stop it before even that.

As much as I rarely agree with Bailey Guns on pretty much anything, we can agree here.

Cop says to put it down, then you put it down! I don't care if you were defending yourself previously from a threat, when the cops get there, for dear god, put the gun away! It's a life altering decision.

As stated before, this was most definitely a suicide by cop incident. Pretty damned messed up.
