Yes, I would buy one.
Nope, not gonna do it.
I have had an old Hero from when they first came out and now every helmet I have has a mount (ATV, Snowmobile and ski on mine, wife & kiddos) Super easy, reliable and not shakey sketchy vids. We have taken it to the rec center and used it as an underwater cam from the diving board as well. Here is a video that always makes me proud, first day of my boy riding his dirt bike: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9jQcyca40c There are a ton of mounts and readily available....DO IT!!!

Those videos amaze me. Not only the numbers of idiot drivers, but the numbers of people who HAVE dash cameras mounted and running! How many people do you know that have one in their car, turned on at all times? And most of those appeared to be Eastern European.
Another thing, just how the hell does one person collect dozens of crash videos from dozens of other people, possibly from several countries, and compile them together into one video? I wonder that a lot, there's shitloads of compilation videos of all kinds on the net, many are obviously LE or surveillance....HTF do people get ahold of other people's videos, especially LE and surveillance stuff?
Guess I'm just too old to understand this newfangled age. But if I ever get my old Willys Jeep running, I want a GoPro to take on trail rides, for sure!

My wife insisted we have a video of our wedding and we've not watched it once in the 22 years we've been married. -that's about how often I'd watch GoPro footage.
I enjoy the car crash compilations on YouTube as much as the next person but I work with stills and simply don't think in terms of motion. A great device for some, not so much for others.
My main goal for it is to use it as a POV for training or maybe even competition, more to get to watch hand placement etc.
