For a guy who never gets recognized as elite, Joe Flacco is about as good as they come. Even in a poor game (for Baltimore), he throws for over 300 and 2 TDs.

I never referenced this year. I don't care when it happens. So long as I'm in Colorado when it happens.

But for the record, the Bears are one of the stronger teams in the league. God forbid the front office actually learns how football works and finally builds an O line...everyone in the NFC better run and hide. Cutler with protection is a scary sight for a defense, and having Forte in open space is easy money. I don't think anything needs to be said about the Bears defense, other than they're the most consistent and balanced defense in the league for, what, 7-8 years now? The lack of an O line is literally the only thing holding them back.

Reading this thread after the game was hilarious. People writing off the offense, defense, special teams, head coach and entire city off before the end of the first half. lol

Squeaked by? What game were you watching? 7 TDs is a squeaker? lol

Da Bears will lose to the Bengals in their season opener, Marshall & Cutler will be in a feud shortly thereafter and the train won't get back on the tracks before the end of the season. Sorry but they missed their opportunity. Firing Lovey w/o a better option available was stupid.

BTW..... triple digit posts and NOT A SINGLE MENTION OF TEBOW!!!!!

Now THAT is some good news. Funny how 7 passing TDs in a single game (three quarters if you want to be specific) will do that to Tebow fanboys. Looks like I will be able to focus on actual game play this season and not the Days of Our Lives BS that those who know nothing about football want to wallow in.

This IS going to be a good season.

WTF at Denver's run game. I guess they figure they don't need one with Peyton and the gang?

I was infuriated. However, I'm trying to remain optimistic. I was just about as pissed when the Broncos fired Shannahan.

    1. Well, yeah.
    2. Don't venture south of 60th or so, and stay east of the Dan Ryan.
    3. How dare you.

I was at a Sox/Indians game back in June and got box seats wherein I listened to two Cleveland fans hoot and holler while Chicago forget they were a pro team. It was misery.

The Shanahan thing was surprising but not unexpected. The Lovey Smith thing was completely unexpected coupled with idiotic.

Funny you mention not venturing south of 60th. About a decade ago my wife had a modeling gig in Chicago so we went for a week. On the day of her shoot I was on my own and decided I wanted White Castle. Thanks to a Google Maps snafu I ended up taking the orange to the end and walking about 80 city blocks.... south. Needless to say, that was an adventurous day.

Sorry man, thanks to the Tebow fiasco the last few years I have no idea who's being sarcastic when it comes to football discussions because it appears as though Tebow has brought a LOT of people into football discussions that have NO idea what they're talking about.
