Flooding

I tried getting home as I've been on the road the last couple days, got about 2 miles from the house and hit the road block. It's sounding like my house so far hasn't been affected, but all roads in and out are closed. The most comforting info I've gotten is that the shelter is the middle school about 2 blocks from my house so hopefully my issues with all of it are limited to having to do some shopping for some clothes and checking into a hotel for the weekend or at least until the roads open.

I'm kicking myself in the arse for having pulled my go bag out of the work truck earlier this year and not getting it back in there. I had used some of the clothes in it on a road trip that went longer than expected so I pulled it out to wash the clothes and re-pack it and never got it back in the truck. Needless to say, that's getting done first thing when I get back home and it's probably going to be done in a bigger bag and have MANY items added to it.
