Good luck to you with your new job.

Leaving local for fed is just a way of changing pastures. The grass is still the same color.

It took me a while to realize that regardless of how much or how little impact I make while on any job, within a week or less of leaving, few if anyone remembers who you were or what you did. I've seen it many times; some employee retires after many years (good people and bad). Within days, their desk/office/work space is reassigned and life goes on. With a little turn over, you mention some project/case/assignment Joe did a great job on and half the people there look at you and say, "Joe who?"

Do your best but know that every minute you spend with family and friends is worth one hundred hours at work.

    Going to Quantico or Brunswick?

    Be safe.

I know it well. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynn County Georgia, just north of Brunswick. Enjoy PAM's #1, St Simons and Sally's Cop shop.

    Welcome to Club Fed.

If you know it well you might be getting a PM from me... Training is only going to be three weeks. But I'll need something to do for three weeks.
