Benefitting from FB would be viewing it directly without logging in & creating an account (like all those pictures from fbcdn.com)

Copying information off of it to a different location is not benefiting FB at all, it hurts them as they do not get views.

So what you are saying is all the anti FB folks can actually take the time to seek out the info they wish to have, all by themselves....?

    You mean like this thread?

If the only way people, companies, organizations, etc choose to communicate is facebook they automaticaly miss half the US population. Some may be okay with that but a drive to gather petitions needs to reach as many people as possible. The OP did not even include a link to anything with information FB or not.

Look, you are hurting this petition by side tracking on your FB love. Many of us don't want/need/ or "feel the FB love". If you want to go off on that one, please start another thread where we can ignore it in peace. This thread is talking to getting rid of a bad law.... Which I think we can all agree with.

Machine Gun Tours had a petition, but he said they already picked it up. He didn't have any other info but suggested trying 5280. 5280 doesn't usually open again until Wednesday and who knows with the holiday.

Edit: I just called Tom and Joe's. He said they have the petition on the counter now.

We did talk about this on multiple occasions here on the forum months ago. We even had a discussion if it was a good idea and i am still very much against it. Sure we get rid of the ban for now but do you really want it to go to a vote of the people? Do you really want the people to vote on a mag ban when there is another pot initiative next to it on the ballot? I think an initiative like this would be a great way to loose our rights and we can not even hold someone accountable when we do. I ask all of you to really think about the consequences an initiative like this could have before you sign the petition.

This is that one? I do remember the discussion... Maybe we need the wording of the petition put up here as well. There were good points to both sides of that argument as I remember. Maybe an admin will need to merge the two threads if this is the case?

Several people have opposed this because of the part in red bold. The foolishness of opposing this on those grounds is that regardless of whether this line was included or not, the people could always put another constitutional amendment on the ballot to undo this one. The inclusion of that verbiage doesn't change a damn thing.
