    Thanks man!

I actually took a flat iron and smoothed the back strap and the front strap (if that's even a term), then sanded it all down with some 60 grit.

I'm referring to the small raised area on the side of the grip.

The area containing the factory "texture"?

I did sand the edges along that down to be flush with the rest of the grip.

Or the raised portion where your thumb rests while gripping the pistol? That part I left alone.

That is outstanding. How long did it take you? It looks like my finest tip is still larger than the tip you used, and it takes me 2 hours on average for a Glock. I read some posts on another forum by a guy who used basically a needle tip and it took him around 8 hours.

It took me right at 5 hours, with a couple diaper changes in between lol.

Here is the tip I used next to a thumb tack for reference...

Not typically a fan, but that turned out pretty well. Nice and clean, kudos!

Thanks man, the "clean" aspect has been a deterrent for quite sometime, haven't seen enough jobs clean enough for my taste.

Looks good! Have you carried it yet? I love the feel of a stippled frame but my last one ate a few shirts and some flesh.

Been carrying it all day, I can tell a difference but I'll forget it's there soon enough. Also I wear undershirts so no discomfort.
