Honestly, I don't care for smoking weed to get high. I have no use for anything that makes me veg. I do get migraines and the time when I had one real bad and tried a little pot, well it helped instantly. I can count on one hand the amount of times I have puffed up in a decade too.

Like buying votes, which is what this amendment is partially about.
You can see how it's being handled across the D' side of the aisle. There's a lot of behind the scene out of state D & L cash being used for this . I don't doubt that "money" will be funding any L leaning bill that someone from OOS brings to the table.

Irving, I get exactly what he is saying and the reason why that is true is because of the hypocrisy of the right on issues like this. They should be the ones at the front calling for an end to BIG GOVERNMENT prohibition. But they are the ones using BIG GOVERNMENT against pot. So no young kid will listen to the boy/party who cries wolf.

Congratulations. I'm glad an illegal act gave you relief from the pain.

It seems pretty obvious that you don't care for your job as much as I do since I would be fired for using any illegal substance.

Then again, my job involves making life and death decisions. Your toughest task is probably not stapling your finger....

You're sick? Maybe you should get a prescription for some of that MMJ.

And fiscally our country was doomed the second the unconstitutional FED was created. Please don't cry to me about irresponsible spending and federal budgets when BOTH sides are racking up debt faster than a drunk sailor with a credit card on port leave. Listening to Dick Cheney around the time we went to war in Iraq and Afghanistan claiming deficits don't matter while they cut taxes and went to war tells you all you need to know. If you cared about that, well you would start fighting for election reform first because both sides have a death wish in relation to the deficit.

When you are done being blinded by your condescension and blind hate... get back to me and tell me how migraine medication leaves you thinking clear. But hey, don't let common sense get in the way of a good lock step mind process.

I voted for the amendment legalizing it because I disagreed with the prohibition-style of it.

Doesn't mean I have any desire to use, nor do I approve of those who do. I indeed agree that it'll probably bring a bunch of libs who'll continue to trash the state (one reason I really wish more had joined the Northern Colorado initiative). I also agree that a bunch of people who got "medical" cards likely abused the system (I recall a story from CA about a pierside doc who'd prescribe marijuana to anyone who came in and complained about any sort of pain, and stories from CO about teenagers who got their cards).

So just because I want to reduce the size of government, doesn't mean I have to like all of the results.
