About 3/4 of the way through making 100 pounds of Elk burger.
Just pulled the engine out of an XR200R...45 minutes from fully assembled to on the bench.

After shooting Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I had 7 dirty guns. I got through 3 of them last night.

Put the rusty fuel tank generator back together and got it fired up with a temporary tank.
Now I just need to media blast the rust outta the tank. That would be simpler if I had a media blaster.
Need to run and get a carb rebuild kit for the snowblower so I can get that back in action. Tecumseh sucks for using soft float valve seats instead of a soft point valve.

My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

I installed a JP adjustable gas block on my precision AR today. The gas is controlled by a set screw, but there is no provision for locking the screw. The instructions say you might want to use locktite. Might? Really? It would shake itself out in 10 rounds if you didn't lock it down. I want to be able to turn the gas off on this thing, so I don't want it glued in permanently. I think I'm going to try to find a set screw with the nylon locking insert and try that.
On the plus side, the adjusting screw just happened to line up perfectly with a slot in the free float rail so I'll be able to adjust it without taking the rail off.

You might try to find some of that orange loctite the bike manufacturers are so fond of, it locks the threads, but never really hardens to the point that it's difficult to turn the fastener with the appropriate tool.

Put a new forearm on an AR. Lightweight, only the necessary rail sections, and it should make the perfect (yeah, RIGHT!) 3-gun machine for me. I decided I needed a longer barrel, (than the 14.5 I was using) and a platform for a soon to be purchased 1-4x scope to replace the Eotech holographic I was using. Of course, the Eotech worked just fine last Sunday...go figure. It just seemed like I could've used a bit of magnification.
Oh, and put the holster, new AR mag double mag pouch and handgun mag holder on the new belt.
