Sounds like the poor bastard burned to death. What a hell of a way to go

    http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/m...eport/4306673/

The autopsy report concluded that the cause of the death was the "effect of traumatic and thermal injuries." It was ruled "an accident" by Lawrence Nguyen, deputy medical examiner.
The injuries to Walker in the passenger seat were horrific, as only remnants of the outfit he was wearing following a charity function he hosted were intact -- a black t-shirt, black jeans and grey boxer shorts. Walker was found "charred and in a pugilistic stance."

I stand by my earlier (since maligned) comment that you cannot turn a car into what they did at normal posted speeds:

    http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/03/showbi...html?hpt=hp_c2

pick a tree or telephone post and hit it at over 100mph and it ain't gonna be comfy.

Paul Walker car crash was caused by speed - not mechanical problems: investigators
The Porsche carrying "Fast & Furious" star Paul Walker was traveling approximately 90 mph when it lost control on a suburban street and crashed, killing the actor and his friend, according to an investigation by law enforcement agencies into the November accident.

The sports car slammed into a light pole which had a speed limit sign of 45 mph, killing Walker and Roger Rodas in a fiery wreck.

Investigators concluded that unsafe driving, not mechanical problems, caused the crash, according to a person who has reviewed a report by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and California Highway Patrol. Investigators calculated that Rodas was driving between 81 mph and 94 mph when his 2005 Porsche Carrera GT began to drift as it lost control after coming out of a curve.

"The vehicle had no mechanical failure and the damage that occurred to the vehicle was from the collision," accident reconstruction specialists with the Highway Patrol wrote, according to the person, who requested anonymity because the report has not been officially released yet.
The post-crash investigators also noted that the tires were 9 years old. The manual suggested changing the tires after 4 years.

No mention of the NOS that had been rumored to have been recently installed.

With a car like that, you don't need NOS. The rumor was unfounded.
