    Federal law says 7.25, think it's higher in WA state though.

    I find it amusing that the retards who voted for this have absolutely no grasp of basic economic principles. They probably truly believe that they are going to have all sorts of extra money laying around.

    I'd give a dollar to see the looks on their faces when the price of the pot they are smoking doubles overnight to keep up with that kind of inflation.

    Won't be overnight really. It's phased in over several years, and smaller businesses have longer to start paying the higher wage, 2 year longer IIRC. Plus, teenagers will have a lower minimum wage. It's going to get confusing in a couple years as a teen working at a large company will have a different minimum wage than an adult at either a large or small business.
