Come on up to West Magnolia and scare off all the drainbows.

Fraser has some nice places back in the woods. They looked to be accessible with a trailer. Is Robbers Roost, in Winter Park, open yet?

IIRC the same thing happened to you last year.

South Site. Then you can get some morning marksmanship in without even unzipping your bag ... ;-)

Nah, I think I'll shoot some apit. 50bmg into tannerite and an old half full propane tank near a bunch of beetle kill!

How far off the beaten path do you want to go? Theres a campground on HWY 119 north of Black Hawk with plenty of spots open. Well, there were earlier today anyway. Pretty close to the road though. Its near 119 & HWY 46 (Golden Gate Canyon). Good part is Golden Gate is right there. Not far from Rollinsville and the trails over there.

Rawlinsville. We tent camp there but I've seen some decent sized RVs there. As long as you don't mind hearing the trains going through Moffett Tunnel in the middle of the night.

Outside of Tabernash, there's national forest access that has space for trailers right off the access road. A nice stream and plenty of places to shoot in there.

If you have a decent rig, the access to the Pickle Gulch trail is right there, and you can camp in there, as well. Depending on what you drive, a budget boost or leveling kit might be enough to give you the necessary clearance and suspension travel to get in there. It's all national forest, so there are plenty of shooting opportunities too. And since you need a legitimate 4WD, you avoid the yuppies and granola campers.

Ill check there here as well. Today is just finding a spot once we get out of the house. Hopefully something good is available
