A friend of mine has a business where he takes photos almost exclusively of women with ink. I was never a big fan of tattoos, but I have to tell you I've been very appreciative of his facebook feed. He's constantly swimming in beautiful women, plus he gets to hang out with some cool people every once and a while too. You've probably seen some of the nice shots he's taken of Michell Viscusi as an example. If I ever getting around to building an actual website for the FFL business, maybe I'll con him out here to come take some photos of my guns with some of his clients.

This thread is making me laugh. There are other places besides right above the butt, the sleeves or the bosom to get tats. Mine were very personal in nature, marking milestones and independence in my life. They're for me, and I've had them for almost 30 years and they look just fine because I've taken care of them as the artists suggested. Sunblock is very important.

I was very picky about the design, and doubly picky about the artists. I am incredibly proud to have a tattoo by the great Sailor Moses from the California Tattoo Studio from Biloxi, Mississippi. It's art. Nobody sees them unless I let them be seen; one wraps around my ankle and the other is on my thigh. Now that I'm married, I'd confer with my husband if I wanted to get another one...but they're awfully expensive and I have a lot of other things I'd like to purchase or pay off first.

The ladies you guys know may very well have tattoos, and you just don't know it....

My parents worked all the time so as long as I was in the house by 10 on the weekday and told them if I was coming home on the weekend I was good. Not really a conducive lifestyle for me, but I had fun doing a whole bunch of things I shouldn't have been doing at a really young age. Only positive is I'm a square now!

Awesome! What a small world. I don't recognize the name Wondo/Tropical Tom. A curly-aired blond artist named Scotty did my ankle tat.

I bear a few stains meself, but mine are covered by short-sleeved shirts. I don't really want any more.

AFA as tats on women, I'm rarely a fan of them, but it depends on the woman and the artist. Although I encountered a lovely young lady in line at the Post Office once that had a fresh shoulder piece that was just stunning. I don't remember the artist's name, but the fine lines, shading and coloring work was just incredible. I wish I had some photos of it. But it was so beautiful I felt privileged that I got to see it, and that's a rare feeling.

But face and neck tattoos, bizarre piercings, and other mutilations - those people get no sympathy from me. Like former Nugget player Chris "Birdman" Anderson, all that ink all over his neck is really gonna look stupid in a few years. Generally though, I prefer girlie flesh in its natural state and not all marked up.
