That is why this incident needs to be investigated and judicial process exercised if necessary. I have no doubt that evidence of what happened will come out through the process to those who need to know. People, from all over, have this belief that they are the authority of what happened and what should happen legally as if they are entitled to the evidence through whatever media they consume. How can investigators, prosecutors, and jurists look at the evidence impartially when it is all turned into a media zoo? Unfortunately, I doubt that evidence will matter much in this particular case; the whole thing seems like a witch hunt to me since so many are calling for this guy's head without knowing all the facts including the governor.

Gov Nixon is a moron. I've never seen pandering to the extent it's being done by this governor to the black community. He should be ashamed and there should be an impeachment vote because of how he's blatantly suggested the constitutions of the US and MO be violated. More breaking news: Apparently Officer Wilson suffered an “orbital blowout fracture to the eye socket.” Reports are this has been confirmed by the St Louis County prosecutor's office and the St Louis County Police.


That type of injury would most likely be considered serious bodily injury in Colorado and could be a legal justification for the use of deadly force. If this is true then it certainly lends credibility to the officer's version of events. Also, a reporter for the St Louis Post-Dispatch tweeted two days ago the police have a dozen witnesses who have come forward to corroborate the officer's story.

The broken bone is SBI as Colorado law defines it, and might be justification. The loss of consciousness that comes from being hit is definitely justification, unless someone really believes that Brown's assault really would have ended at that point.

Whoever would buy that story would probably take personal checks from the guy on Armslist who can't go to SW because he's got "background issues. "
