Someone deleted their post expressing distrust for the news source. If they are interested, the Cato Institute provides an interesting news clipping database. I read it regularly and although many of the stories are disturbing and tragic, I think it would be a useful read for anyone in the law enforcement profession.
In general, I find even good new sources get the story half right within a week of the incident being reported and they normally only get up to 70% right if they follow the story for more than three months.
Joe Friday was interested in just the facts. Journalists have lots of facts, depending on what they believe and where they want the story to go. The facts that don't get reported are just as important.
