What thing did you find that you forgot you had?

My axe is pretty dull and needs to be sharpened, so I was digging around tonight looking for my hatchet so I could do them both at the same time. As I was searching through one of the camping tubs, I found a nice SOG Seal Pup I hadn't seen in years and forgot I had. Put a nice smile on my face, since I was thinking I needed another fixed blade anyway.

I know a lot of you guys are like me and have piles of gun stuff, prepper stuff, or other just general "stuff" stashed away. What awesome, weird, or whatever thing did you find that you forgot you had?

Find a long-forgotten gun? Small pile of gold bars? 2 cases of .22lr ammo you could have shot up last year when you were stalking WalMarts at 5am?

Threw some mag pouches and my holster on that bitch and now it's my my range rig. Hell yeah.

Earlier this year when I returned from a trip to AZ I found 10 yugo mags that I forgot I had. Its usually the opposite though, I can't find something that I know I have.

I sold off both my 45 cal Glocks to get 9mm's about a year ago. I thought I sold off all of the ammo as well. I picked up a 1911 a month or so ago and when I had my son grab ammo out of the safe to go shoot it, he turned up with a 100 round white box. When I asked him where he got it, he said it was next to the other three in the safe. Cool! 400 rounds I had no idea I had.

I really need to get a safe with lights.
