    Im sorry but I cant feel sorry for Americans (non military personnel) beheaded in a war zone. You placed yourself into a very very bad situation and it bit you in the ass. You either did it for glory and fame (reporters) or did it because you were a fucking moron, like this guy.

    Now the lady in Oklahoma city I feel horrible for. The British soldier in London I feel horrible for. But, if you go to them and they kill you... well sorry.

    I agree with you but past threads have proven to me that the majority of COAR never blames the victim. Just saying.

    Peter Kassig (former Ranger from A co 1/75) was captured in Beirut in Oct 2013 providing assistance to refugees from Syria.

    so, he put himself in a really really bad place and he died for it. I would think they would teach Rangers not to do stupid things. If you go to places like that you do so without the luxury of calling your fellow Rangers for help. He was a Man and he knew what he was getting into. No sympathy from me. Had he been captured while a US soldier that was sent there, I would feel different.
