Well I do have insurance and the deductible is $149....no too bad.
UbreakIfix charges $150 for glass replacement and $290 for glass and screeen(LCD) replacement. Cellular exchange is down the road and $40 cheaper and I need both glass and screen replaced. I want to go thru insurance but I don't know when I'll have the replacement phone as Celluar Exchange will have mine fixed by tomorrow. Anyone know how to wipe a phone that screen doesn't work....I'd hate to send my old phone in without wiping it(if I go with insurance)??

You should be able to remote wipe a "lost phone" from Google Play.

That's why I install at least two other admin programs - SeekDroid, theftie, Lookout, etc. so I can find or wipe my phone remotely. Theftie will even drop a breadcrumb right before power fail, and some will take a photo of someone trying the wrong PIN too many times and e-mail it to you and/or lock it automatically.

Otherwise, the only thing that comes to mind is to follow the instructions to get it into bootloader and re-flash it with Kies or maybe ODIN. Kies may be able to wipe it regardless once you plug into a computer. You could at least find and wack the photos, etc.

The verizon factory flash files are available on the intarwebz. Try looking around xda developrs - here's a starting link that might help. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2504408

Technically, since this is a gun forum, the correct answer should be "shoot it."
