See if it can be transferred to a legit NFA dealer.
The problem will arise though Wayne if SOW is in receivership/bankruptcy. The can is technically their property and as such could be tied up in proceedings for a while.

I know not for not, but I don't think it is THIER property.Theyre just handling the transaction . It's already been paid for by me. I believe, technically speaking, it belongs to me now.....I just can't have it till ATF sends the OK. (Might could be worded better, but that's my interpretation)

IF there was never a submittal, it sounds like there's a line of people ahead of you. Paid by CC good, Postal M/order maybe. However the postal inspector's dept is about useless when it comes to recouping money.

IF it was me, after making those calls, I'd go to that other business and walk along the sidewalk, with a sign holding them accountable too. They had / have accountability in this from day 1.
