Ray if you want to check out the bodyguard before you settle for the Ruger, let me know, I'll let you have a go with mine. It really is more bang for your buck.

Thanks. I might do a little research first and compare the two. I do think the bodyguard looks hideous and the grip angle just looks all wrong. Of course I think the same thing about Glocks but I shoot them pretty well.

I have no use for a laser device. Part of the reason I never looked into the bodyguard. But it does look like they offer one without the laser.

If I decide to take one for a test drive I might hit you up.

    Thanks.

My wife has the version without the laser. It is cheaper.

Looked at the bodyguard today. Not really my thing. Too many tiny levers too close together. Leaning towards the LCP for simplicity as well as a track record of reliability. Thought about the Kahr CW380 but numerous YouTube videos make it seem pretty unreliable.

Not on a regular basis but I use the galco pocket holster for my xds 45. It can be done just need to make sure you don't have the pinky extensions on the mags. Use to carry the lcp in the pocket with a DeSantis and it was ok. Just the gun was way to small.

S&W 642 in a Bob Mika pocket holster. Couple of extra speed strips as well.

    I second the S&W 642 and a Mika holster.

Both my wife and I have P938's, she's a pretty small gal but after trying a LCP and Mustang she decided on the 938. We're also carrying with 7rd mags and they conceal nicely.

    How about a derringer?

I can fit this in my pocket. This is similar to the one I have. I typically carry it in the Bond Arms holster when I am driving. Cross draw parallel to my belt.

I had a P938 that pocket carried well. I used one of those Blackhawk suede like sleeves and the friction of the outer sleeve really kept if from hopping around.
