Beyond gun control laws, the watch phrase during the next 4 elections should be "No more Californias!". Openly ridicule anyone who votes for a California-style liberal. The Socialists are trying to brainwash the next generation into thinking EVERYONE agrees with them. I realize sober-minded individuals and Constitutionalists in Denver find themselves in a minority but they have got to fight back loudly and openly and point to California, its water crisis, and ongoing budget crises as a reason to vote against Rap Sheet Rhonda and her ilk.

You guys are missing the whole point of CA doing this, CA is a much safer state now and they did it for the kids. Bunch of insensitive jerks on this forum. Saracsim....

It's a political ploy from someone running for office, SURPRISE. Unfortunately the fukyness of this way of thinking had poisoned the water supply years ago.

I'm seeing this more as a Chicago situation. Another place we can point to and say "these laws don't work."

As a former area resident I already know how little of a difference this will make in the number of evil magazines. It will likely be one of those things that gets passed, annoys all the shooters for a while, and is then forgotten. After working at a range there for a year and even taking up 3-gun in that place I know the bulk of the community can get through it. Don't worry too much about them.

This can go either way though. If it doesnt work, the rationale could be that the laws need to be MORE restrictive.

It also violates California state law, which is what those opposed will use to hopefully block it.

Well, it is certainly NOT my choice but we are going to be moving back to "wonderful" state of Illinois within the next six weeks. They have some wacky/goofy/crappy/stupid firearms laws there too but so far I will still be able buy high capacity magazines. Probably, with my luck, Illinois will come up with a magazine ban of anything over 5 rounds or perhaps just ban ALL firearms magazines......
