Down to 245 this morning from 305 on July 7th. I've been doing barbell complexes 4 days a week as a source of cardio (I hate running and have the equipment to do the complexes). I'm going to lose another 30-40 lbs before I start lifting full time again.

I plan on stuffing myself with whatever I can get my hands on today. Eating right be damned.

    http://www.womenshealthmag.com/food/side-effects-of-vegetarianism?xid=soc_socialflow_facebook_realsimp le

More and more women are vegging out...of their minds. New research suggests that along with shedding pounds, slashing cancer risk, and boosting life expectancy, vegetarianism could come with lesser-known side effects: Panic attacks. OCD. Depression. WH investigates the puzzling blow of going meatless—and how to stay plant-based without going mental.

I'm a big fan of the 21 Day Fix program. It taught me to eat the right foods in the right portions, while living an active lifestyle. It came with a cookbook full of tasty ideas, too!

Down to 235 now. I didn't do a whole lot for the last couple months but a biggest loser contest at work helped kick me into action. I started being a lot more strict about my calories/carbs and doing barbell complexes on a nightly basis. We also go on a couple mile long walks during breaks at work.

Here's what we made for lunch today before the game. I'd recommend adding a pound of chorizo to the recipe.

Currently still in my bulking stage but slowing reducing calories/carbs monthly before my full cut. Since I'm eating about 3,500 calories a day, my food is bought and made in bulk. I try to keep a daily intake of 40/40/20 (protein %, carbs %, fat %). Right now my carb intake is about 10-15% higher since I'm bulking. I try to mix it up but eating the same stuff everyday doesn't bother me as I cook it so it tastes well. Mixing and matching all this food, I can make some pretty creative and delicious meals.

    Protein;
    EGGS!
    Chicken Breast
    Tilapia
    Salmon
    Chicken thighs
    Ground beef
    Tuna
    London Broil Steak

    Carbs:
    Brown rice
    Basmati rice
    White long grain rice
    Ezkiel bread
    sweet potatoes
    Oatmeal
    Yellow corn tortillas

    Fats:
    Avocado
    Wholly guacamole
    Almonds
    Olive oil
    Turkey bacon

    Veggies:
    Brocolli
    Asparagus
    Green Peppers
    Red Peppers
    Onions
    Lettuce
    Mixed frozen veggies
    Raw Green beans
    Snap peas

    Treats:
    Sharp cheddar cheese
    Reduced/No fat sour cream
    Cheerios Protein Cereal
    Almond Milk

Some examples of what they look like all put together. This is about four days worth of food as I eat six of these meals a day.

Southpaw, where did you get those containers? Are they a one time use disposable?

I bought an ISO-Bag Six Meal Cooler. It comes with an assortment of different sizes of containers but the replacements were ridiculous. For seven additional 28oz containers was $14.95 and I knew I was going to be using a ton of these. After a few broke I started researching and found the company that makes them for ISO Fitness.

I bought 150 for $60+/- shipped. They are reusable if you take care of them. Sometimes the lids get chipped around the edges but the lids still close and are spill proof. They sometimes get warped in the dishwasher and microwave due to heat so I had wash them or make sure the dishwasher is not on heated wash/dry. Also freezing them makes they very brittle (plastic) so be careful with that as well. I cannot remember how long ago I purchased these but it has been at least three months and I am still using my first round of 20-30 containers and haven't had to dip into my reserve stash yet. https://www.shopatdean.com/apps/sear...D=product_type

This has been a grind the last few months but it's worth it. I'm down to 228. That's 75lbs lost since July.

I want to get down to 215 and then start lifting again. Hopefully not too much longer.
