None of this matters to me any more, just picked up a pair of factory 10 round mags from gunbroker.
Now that's settled. File a Form 1 and slap a can on it and go shoot. These things are a blast.

I've had the SBR tax stamp on the MPX for quite a while now. I really love shooting this rifle. I also have a can on it too. Mine isn't the gen two like yours though.Now that's settled. File a Form 1 and slap a can on it and go shoot. These things are a blast.
I apologize for the thread drift, but how is shooting your gen 1 with the can? Is the gas excessive?

I don't get any blowback at all when shooting it with the can. Using a Ti-rant 45 on it. I've used it on several pistols and with my MP5 and I've never had blowback. Guessing that's what you're asking about when you mention excessive gas.
Psssst. He's lying. He's just mad he didn't SBR a Scorpion instead.
I'm kidding of course. I've shot his rifle with the can plenty and didn't find it to be a problem.
