That is a sweet car! I love them too I'm just to fat to get behind the wheel of one ha ha! Please tell us it has a Ford engine in it and not a Chevy! A 427 side oilier would be even better!

Didn't Harry get popped for drugs or some such? Can't recall for sure..
Harry's Specialty Cars should have been named Harry's ripoff cars and yes I think he was popped for something like that I don't remember anymore. Being I'm in that "old fart" category now my memory is going.

It's an oval motor. I went and built a 351W for it, dyno's at 460hp. I like the 427's but it upsets the balance of the car. Bill Cosby had a 427 Turbo automatic. He said it was the scariest car he ever drove.

Similarly to the Viper, most wreck Cobra's within minutes or miles of their 1st drive. People are just not prepared for the power levels compared to weight of the car. 0-100mph and back to zero in 6 seconds.... that's the norm. With a 427 it doesn't get faster than the small block version because of traction is an issue.
I say lets all remove the warning labels and let nature take its course.

Had a 1975 Camaro,, Loved that thing in spite of the fact it was the lowest power engine in the heaviest camaro,, Think it was like 145hp, and just a shade over 3000lbs. Had like 2. something :1 gears. Took a calender to measure 0-60 times But after 60, it didn't take long to get to 140 and being that heavy, it really held the road..

The car was a real Chick magnet, I wasn't, but the car was..
