There I filled in the blanks of what you really meant, put it in quotes like you really said it, and you won't see an apology for that either.

the police in AZ have said they can't even keep up with the amount of crime due largely in part to the illegals coming across the border.

I don't assign responsibility to others for the singular actions of random individuals. When it becomes groups of people doing things, that's when the failure to take action (or at least voice dissent) makes you part of the problem.

Westboro Baptist Church IS a group thing. Do you volunteer to support groups like Partiots Riders who anti-protest and work to block the negative effects of th WBC crews? Hey, I don't ride any more since I had a motorcycle wreck in 2000, but I still show up when I can to counter the Westboro Baptist Church protests. THAT is making a difference for the big things. THAt is taking action to correct the wrongs of others. It is the responsible, moral thing to do.

Your last example is a "one off" example - based on uncommon acts of individuals versus the mass exodus of Mexican nationals which is anything but a "one off" situation. A report that was announced this A.M. is that 10% of Mexico's citizens are here in the U.S. - 10%. Thats pretty far from a "one off" situation like you threw out there. Let's at least be realistic.

I know I've commented (complained) about them as well. Canadians too. Illegal is illegal. But, the sheer scale of the illegals from Mexico far outweighs the numbers represented by every other groups out there.

maybe you should look at the numbers of illegal Russians and illegal Chinese we have here. the numbers are beyond minuscule compared to Mexicans. probably beyond the 1000:1 ratio.

a lot of these people work to look suspicious. people know when they are drawing attention to themselves, be it by looking like a thug, or wearing gang related clothing, walking like they have a stick up their ass in a half limp look to "be cool", putting golf cart tires on a perfectly good truck, having a huge nike swoosh sign on the back of their car window with their name is spanish with their car painted the color of the mexican flag. that draws attention. after that all the cop needs is suspicion of them committing a crime.

Here is what you said that I thought sounded racist.

The passing of this law shouldn't be an excuse for you to go on a rant about what you hate about Mexicans. Nothing in this paragraph has anything to do with legal status. Therefor, it indicates to me that you just don't like Mexicans.

That is as close as you'll get to an apology from me. I can't stress enough that just because I think that you made a racist comment, that it doesn't change how I feel about this situation.

Illegals who get caught slipping are going to get deported. They'll just have to accept the consequences of being here illegally. If they want to try and come back through the legal channels, then good luck to them.

Personally, I think that violent criminals should be dealt with as criminals first, and illegals second. If you are a murderer and get caught, we don't need you around, and your home country probably doesn't want you either. There is really only one way to get you out of both countries' hair.
