.22 ammo: Is this "the New Normal?"

Anyone who hasn't purchased ammo way before this is SOL. There's some deals on 223, buying in bulk. What i don't understand is.........
Who Buys 2-3 boxes and calls that bulk?

SSH! When my wife squeezes off 250 rounds, I call an excuse to buy 2k SS109 bullets, 2k primers and 8# of powder...

So, it turns out to be a silver lining that my boating accident happened a while back. Otherwise I would have to find some place to store 125,000 rounds of ammo.

As much as you can reasonably afford to buy or load up. As in thousands. Many thousands. It won't be affordable much longer, maybe not even legal someday. God help us, there's a LOT of people in this country that would like nothing more than to make ALL ammuntion only available to law enforcement and military. And the worst one is running for President, and doing disturbingly well.
