MA manufacturers and retailers abided by the law. The AG said they weren't. Were is the proof?

This mirrors the CO mag restriction where reporters are claiming retailers are flagrantly violating the law but can't sight one instance where the law was broken.

    Sucks all around.

I think the 1994 assault weapons ban was sighted in this cluster fawk. That was the best the Dems could pass without totally committing political suicide.

Questions about her authority to do this:

With zero ability to make law....

I really hate when people in these positions don't understand upholding law, enforcing law, or making law.

There is only one correct response to unjust exercise of power. Immediate and potentially radical civil disobedience.

But, it's Masshole, so probably they'll just knuckle under.

I'm sure she has an armed state trooper guarding her in her office. Not to mention her gay partner is a judge. The Massachusetts constituents need to educate themselves before they let people like Maura Healey in power. OP is right "Full Retard"

I am firmly against the homosexual agenda and the way they've been cramming it down our throats via the mass media but I don't have a problem with her being a lesbian or any other homosexual for doing what they do in the privacy of their own homes. What I have a problem with is her being a Stalinist tyrant who willingly violates the Constitution and her oath of office in furtherance of an unAmerican agenda. You don't solve one anti-American problem by welcoming another one like the Islamists and their idea of Sharia law. The Massholes elected her, they can live with the consequences.

No logic behind all this, the math doesn't support the decision:

What is the breaking point for people? Really, What is it? What if the same thing happened here? What would "we" do about it?

The debate is the latest example of the long-running argument between Second Amendment purists and gun control advocates about whether new firearms laws make people safer. Indeed, the fact that Massachusetts has so few murders committed using assault weapons could be seen as evidence that the original ban was successful.
I don't know what a "Second Amendment purist" is, but it sounds mildly derogatory and I am pretty sure I like being one.

One of the guys I met over on the Smith-Wesson forum lives there. He said tomorrow there's supposed to be a large anti-AG rally and was planning on going. I wished him luck, hope that there's a huge turnout and told him every now and then recalls can be effective.

    Truly sad state of affairs.
