Buy her the stupid coffee she ordered (and her man-servant) and give her your name and number and invite her to come shooting with you some time. Do it while putting up a friendly smile and asking questions about their lives and what they're up to 'today'.

She may or may not take you up on the offer (and you may not even want to deliver on it), but she will second guess her thoughts every time someone else tells her that YOU are what is wrong with everything in her world.

It works. I've done it. Try it.

The problem with this snowflake is she led with violence, even if only joking. She saw an image of firearm and her brain went to violence. I would not put a firearm in her hands. She is probably one of the Libs who thinks guns should be banned because she knows she couldn't handle owning one.

The silent husband is another red flag that she has issues.

Be abrasive to them or try to convert them.

One approach has a possible beneficial outcome. The other doesn't, but it sure might feel good.

The enemies of our beliefs are deploying the exact same approach... just in different methods.

Out-think your opposition or back into the ropes and try to preserve yourself and your beliefs for as long as you can... Deflection and preservation isn't an offensive strategy.

'Compromise' isn't an option, but approaching a situation from a feigned position of compromise can potentially open doors.

Displace, unnerve and rattle their initial expectations. And then pump in what you know is true.

It won't work often, but it will be a 'win' when it does.

A few years ago, I was moving into an apt in Littleton and unfortunately the neighbors in the adjoining apt were outside on their porch, so they saw me move in my safes, guns, and massive quantities of ammo. They had things plastered on their window like "Women for Obama" and "Pagans are Peaceful" and all that new agey, liberal, "I'm an artiste!" sort of crap. So the overweight, organic only, health conscious chain-smoker wife starts bitching about guns and how they're horrible etc. Fast forward a few months. Some other dude who lived across the street, who had some serious paranoid delusional schizo problems, has decided that he is indeed the next Eminem and these folks, being self-employed photographers/graphic artists/videographers are going to be his ticket to stardom. He's also engaging in activities which seem to be geared toward grooming their 12 year old son for only God knows what sort of Turkish delights (i.e., pederasty). They freak out and tell me and say that if we hear them screaming to please come because they realized Mr. Delusional is in fact grade-A psych ward material. They explain everything that went down and are worried he is going to get violent with them. So I tell her, "If I hear you screaming bloody murder, I will come out with at least my pistol and if he is hurting you or your son, it's gonna go down." She broke down in tears and profusely thanked me and goes rambling on about how they are so glad I live there and are glad I have guns and can protect them since the dude was apparently drop of a hat level violent. She knew the cops would be too late for anything. Amazing how opinions change when it's their family on the line. They got evicted about a month later, unsurprisingly given that they were effectively white trash who didn't do anything but talk about their "art" while chain smoking on the "porch".

My favorite conversation was when we were talking about their garden they were growing in their assigned parking space (no car) and she was saying how she doesn't "...trust all the crap they're putting in food these days", thoughtfully looks off in the distance, and pulls a big drag from her Marlboro.
