Regarding the person posting about every little thing- sometimes it can be good. We had someone do a hit-and-run through our neighborhood, and they blew through several stop signs trying to find a way out of this rat's maze of streets. They nearly hit a kid on a bike, too. DCSD had vehicles all over the neighborhood, looking for the guy. A neighbor talked with one of the deputies, and the posting began. The hit-and-run SUV was found within a half hour, thanks to the posting of the neighbors spotting the vehicle.

The frantic coyote sighting postings are getting old, though.

IF the coyote is aware that all of the neighbors are posting about it on Nextdoor, I can see how that would make the coyote frantic.

I especially love the posts about coyote posts.

If they'd just let us shoot them, they'd have less to worry about. The coyotes around here have snatched several dogs. A 16 year old girl was attacked earlier this year too while walk her large dogs.

I'm in my office right now looking at a perfect backstop in "open space" and see them often.
