    Check the manual on that heater - I believe some of my family had issues with them working if they were camped over 9000ft or something like that.

    I did. Says might flame out and maybe not relight above 7K'. None of the guys I know that use them have had any of those issues though. We're frequently above 7K. We were 9K+ last year a couple of times but not in the fall/winter thankfully.

    cool. maybe the newer ones have been improved.
