Late response, but I thought I'd check to see if anyone else has come up with something cheaper. Here's a list I scratched together from co-ar15 and arfcom posts. Wishing I could find some more people with experience at this special occasions place.

Is that an offer to engrave? If so, do you have any examples or pics you could share? I can't speak for everyone, but I'm not personally interested in the ultimate cheapest price, just in finding someone on the lower end of the spectrum that can do a quality job.

i first went to iron ridge and they didn't seem like it was somthing they wanted to do at the time or at least for the logo i was wanting to get done as they where focused on milling AR-10's receivers and coating guns you might try and send Oliver an email he is pretty good at getting back in a timely fashion now. i think i just caught them at the wrong time during the Obama scare!

also from the place i had my lower engraved mine costs more because of the logo i made/time it took which was about an hour. if you just need some letters/your name and city or trust info for NFA items like SBR's there price should be a lot lower than 50.00! give Dave i think a quick email and they should let you know how much for what ever you are looking to have done pretty quickly. note you need to disassemble the lower down to bare as it fits better in the machine. the day before my engraving a guy had his lower engraved for a SBR or it sounded like it.

If price is not an issue, and you want something high quality marked on your receiver, I suggest contacting Craig at Custom Tooling and Fabrication in Loveland, CO.

In a FONT i chose, they CNC machined my AR lower, with my name and city / state on one side and this on the other:

I have a few pics of my work on this site. Obviously, if you want it to look like a machine did it, there are tons of people mentioned in this thread that do very nice work.

I took a look and those look great. I'll definitely be looking your way when/if I get into custom work like that.

At this point I'm just looking for my trust name and city engraved, and I actually just picked up my 2 SBRs today from Farmer's Engraving in Cherry Creek. Posted a quick note about that here.

I did have to drop it off and wait a day or two, but the price was right (only about $20ea) and the quality looked great to me (though nothing fancy like your designs and scrollwork, etc).
