I don't see the dems promoting him to be a national candidate - lacks the far, far left bonafides. The big money and dem elitists are eliminating everyone who isn't idealogically pure in their eyes - like the guy running for DNC chair who inconveniently pointed out this week that islam is "anti gay" (it is). Hickenlooper is at best a political opportunist rather than a true believer. Also his appearance and speaking are not "eyes or ears friendly".

I agree with your assessment, the left is doubling down and hickenlooper doesn't fit their mold.

Agreed. Especially with the defeat of Hillary, the party is moving ever farther left and soon Bernie will be considered too moderate to lead the party.
