The Nazi's at one point floated the idea that we are living on the inside of a dome, and even went so far as to send spies to places far away from England, with the idea to point telescopes up into the sky, at an angle, to spy on England. Their reports showed that this was not successful. I can't put my finger on the source for that story at the moment, but I'm sure it was one of the many Vsauce videos I've watched.

Last year, I got stuck riding in a tow truck with a flat-earth driver. He went on for an hour about it, and all I could do was nod and say, "I'll have to look into that. Very interesting."
At first I thought he was joking, but he was 100% convinced and had "done the research." After learning that I work with satellites and radar systems, he was determined to convince me how my entire worldview was a scam.

Oh, and George Bush is a descendant of Egyptian royalty. All part of the New World Order. If you want to see a map of the flat Earth, just look at the UN Logo - they're all in on it.

Met with a roofer once who went on and on about how the moon is really a hollow metal sphere. He found out by watching a documentary that said they were listening to the moon once when an asteroid struck the moon and it vibrated like a gong for several hours. He also knew who Alex Jones was and was into all of that shit. I had the same response as Dave.
