If the above quote was sarcasm please ignore the rest of this post. I have no experience with the folding grip/holster but this is (almost) always in my pocket. It was made by a guy in KY but I would think HBAR could whip one up for you. I carry it as a backup but something is better than nothing.

I still stand by the Kahr CM9 with kydex trigger holster for pocket carry.

    Definitely wasn't meant as sarcasm.

While I don't like the looks of the folding grip, having it clipped to my pocket instead of in my pocket means I won't be wrist deep to get the thing out.

Even something like this as bad breath distances beats a three stooges poke in the eye or throwing rocks.

I would definitely have to practice handling it and make sure I could shoot it reasonably well.

Another option; choose the pants for your pistol rather than the reverse.

Ok. Getting close to actually picking something up. Have it narrowed down to two choices and will list pros and cons and then you guys can give me some more guidance. Or you can just tell me I'm an idiot.

    Ruger LCR, 327 Federal Magnum

Pros- light weight, 17% more ammunition than a five shot revolver, reputation for being reliable

Cons- slightly larger than what I really want for pocket carry, slow to reload

    Kahr CW380, 380ACP

Pros- thin and tiny and should go pretty much unnoticed in a front pocket, holds one more round than the LCR, easier to reload than the revolver

Cons- 50/50 mix of good and bad reviews, marginal caliber for self defense, could be too small to handle efficiently under stress

I know you have all given me lots of options throughout this thread but pretty sure these two are the ones that might best suit my personal needs.

    Thanks once again.

There's not a lot of 327 magnum on store shelves. Didn't realize people still buy that one.

It's semi scarce. I did notice quite a bit in stock at Cabela's this morning. I definitely won't be hoarding ammunition for it anyways. Besides, aren't you the one always preaching about reloading? I'm pretty sure I have a hundred pieces of brass around here somewhere.

    For ammo that's actually used.
Based on your penchant for selling guns you decide you don't like. Trying to sell a used 327 magnum, might as well be listing a PTAC kit on an Anderson lower that has 500 rds through it for $800..
