What a serious waste of $9.00 it was...not to mention the wasted time too.
Common sense is a punishment for having to deal with those who don't have it.

I quit going to that show years ago because it had so little that drew my interest it certainly wasn't worth it. I hold out for the shows at the Freedom Financial Expo; it too is going down but at least it's still more firearms/accessories than anything else.

But but you couldve gotten some jerky and candles.

Did anyone visit the Sertoma Gun Show this weekend?
It was held in the usual location on Academy Blvd here in Colorado Springs.

I did not, that show hasn't interested me in a few years. Tanner is next weekend. I'd rather spend ten dollars there than nine dollars at the tiny springs show.

Any reports from the RJ Gun Show at the Colorado Springs event center?
I was over that way, but did not have time to stop by today.
I was thinking about going on Sunday afternoon, but wanted to know if it was worth the price of admission?

I drove through the parking lot. Only 25-30 cars in the lot no one going in or out, entry and exit through the same door. They used to use one door in and the other out. That means they are using half the space and don't have enough foot traffic to worry about congestion. I did not go in. Oh, entry is now $10 instead of $9 per a small blurb in the paper.

I did go, and it wasn't too bad. Yeah, only about half the space was used. However, the number of real gun vendors vs others was pretty good. Didn't see any jerky at all! And the prices were... fairly decent. Wish there were more C&R type sellers though. And it wasn't crowded, which meant many of the vendors were willing to make deals.
