As long as Republicans are in charge, yes these people will want their 2A rights respected, but the instant the Dems are back in power these people will be the first people in line at the gun "buy back", virtue signaling all the way. And the press will paint them all as Life Members of the NRA who have finally seen the light and are representative of the will of all gun owners.
