Any time someone insults you it seems one sided and unfair.

I see. So if someone of a minority race calls you "cracker", the best and most fair approach is to be free to respond with a slur appropriate to their race.

Got it. Sounds like a great plan for solving that whole "racism" thing.

I do agree with your comment on brainwashing. Probably not for the reasons you meant, though.

    Here you go Bailey,

Proud to be White- Bozo the Clown makes his point................... Bozo the Clown better known as Bozo from TVs Bozo the Clown does make a good point. He makes some very interesting points...Someone finally said it. How many are actually paying attention to this? There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc. And then there are just Americans. You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You call me 'White boy,' 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,' 'Whitey,' 'Caveman'.... and that's OK..But when I call you, ******, Kike, Towel head, Sand-******, Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink .. You call me a racist. You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you... so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live? You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day.You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day.You have Yom Hashoah. You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi.You have the NAACP. You have BET.... If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we'd be racists. If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists. If we had White History Month, we'd be racists. If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR lives, we'd be racists. We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that??A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, but any color can be in the Miss America pageant. If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships... You know we'd be racists. There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US ... Yet if there were 'White colleges', that would be a racist college. In the Million Man March , you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists..You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists. You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.I am proud.... But you call me a racist. Why is it that only whites can be racists?? I sadly don't think many will. That's why we have LOST most of OUR RIGHTS in this country. We won't stand up for ourselves! It's not a crime YET

NOW where IS the "lie" in this?

You are way off. I'm just trying to get you to think. If you don't want to that is your business.

I don't like racism or racist behavior in anyone. I think that historically, blacks in this country were victims of racism and the need to develop many of these organizations to advance the cause of equality was great. Sometimes, an organization outlives it's need.

I, too, agree that in this day and age many of those organizations have become corrupt. Man tends to do that. What starts out as a good idea to fulfill a legitimate need becomes corrupt for various reasons. Usually it's power or money. And the more power and money becomes involved, the more corrupt the organization can become and the more the leadership looses sight of the original intent and goals.

Frankly, I don't think there's a need these days for the NAACP or many of the other organizations listed in that silly email. And I agree that if we had organizations that overtly stated they existed "for white people only", it would most likely be labeled a racist organization. But so what? I don't think I'm going to advance my agenda by forwarding that email or posting it on a gun forum. I do think I'd look like a fool for doing that...so I choose not to. Oh, yeah. I really don't think by forwarding or posting trash like that I'd really change anyone's mind. Apparently, you do.

Ultimately, I have my opinions on what constitutes racism or racist behavior in a person or organization. But what have I done about it? Nothing. Well, maybe a little. I have my opinions and I share them with those that care to listen when the subject comes up. And I don't support racist causes, or racism, by anyone.

What have you done about it? Other than post that ridiculous email?

So, here a few thoughts on quotes from the email:
"There is nothing improper about this e-mail..." Ummm...yes there is. The author felt compelled to LIE HIS ASS OFF in order to try to communicate, and lend ligitimacy, to his point. He also may have done more harm than good because there are those out there who probably believe Michael Richards wrote this (or in your case, believe Kosmo Kramer wrote it).
I've had people perpetuate lies about me that caused me great personal distress. It's a situation that is unpleasant. Especially in this day and age with instant communications through electronic media.
Michael Richards never said that nonsense in court...but I wonder how much grief he's had to endure because it lives on electronically? As a matter of fact, he made a very sincere apology for his tirade and never said anything of the sort attributed to him in that email, in court or in his real apology. But gauranteed there are many out there who will, without any research, read this and believe he said it. His real words nor his apology will mean anything to many people because of this nonsense email.
"Let's see which of you are proud enough to send it on. I sadly don't think many will." It has nothing to do with proud. It has to do with common sense. I, sadly, think TOO MANY will (or have) send it on.
"That's why we have LOST most of OUR RIGHTS in this country." Right. First off, who's "we"? Secondly, what rights have we lost? Third, you're trying to tell me I've lost rights because I won't forward some stupid email? Gee...if I'd known it was that simple I would've been forwarding this type of crap all along. Especially that one from Bill Gates where he's going to give me $1,000.00 for every person to whom I forward his test email. I should have listened because at the end of that email it said it was true because it was written by a person who knows a lawyer and that lawyer verified Bill Gates couldn't say such a thing if he wasn't going to follow through on it. Well, for fuck's sake. I've decided I DO want Bill Gate's money, and I do want my rights back. I'm gonna start using that FORWARD button!
"We won't stand up for ourselves!" Who the fuck is "we"?

Did I e-mail you to forward this? No. It's just a post to think on from an e-mail. Don't have a stroke trying to be all self righteous.

lol I got fired from my job for being white.

but before that, while discussing this issue I told a co-worker that I was not racist, I just had zero white guilt. and in today's politically correct environment having zero white guilt is just a couple of steps shy of being a card carrying, cross burning member of the KKK.

in retrospect the irony is amusing.

Jumpstart, you know what is really scary? The fact that guys on this site, that I think are pretty good guys, don't quite get it. This PC cloud we live in, is fogging a big precentage of Americans views. Just look at the bullshit Arizona is going through. The left is so fucking worried about hurting someones feelings they don't want to enforce federal law. Then what makes things really bad is, people that are not on the left, people that really agree with you, are so afraid of being politically uncorrect, that they are afraid of saying what is really right.

You guys should reread the original post. All that bullshit about BET, black colleges, black Miss America, and the rest, is real shit that happens every single day. It doesn't matter if porky pig wrote it.

Yep. I totally agree. When I posted I wanted to see who got it and who didn't. You are right, it is kinda disconcerting. Some of the peeps here just kept right on perpetuating political correctness at the expense of common sense. Interesting considering the theme of this internet site.

I'm with El Huero. Based on my life experiences I am completely devoid of any white guilt. I know, I know, I'm racist.

Who is offended by BET and Miss Black America? Some white dude just won an award on BET, and my lack of being able to be featured on BET or in the Black Miss America pageant has never stood in the way of achieving any of my goals any more than me not being aloud to go into the women's restroom has.

The intention of opening people's minds is nice, but come on, we're not home schooled 6th graders. We are adequately aware of racism against white people. Thanks for the reminder I guess?
