How does this make Trump untouchable? Untouchable in what way?
I read the posted document, but I don't know enough about any of this stuff to understand how serious it actually is. Anyone care to break it down with as little drama as possible?

"There are no finger prints under water."
Basically the FBI used a document that they knew the DNC had paid Russia to compile and knew was substantially false to get warrants to spy on the Trump group. This same document is the source of all the Russia collusion claims. Thus they are using fake evidence to investigate the Trump group looking for an excuse to impeach him.
This is an attempted coup and an attempt to remove a legitimately elected President.
If you want peace, prepare for war.
Was this going on before the election, after, or both?
Also, if real evidence was found, would it have changed the perception? I ask because it seems like a real Hail Mary type of move. If you find nothing, then you just broke the law for nothing. If you find something substantial, you risked your career but in the end are made out to be some type of hero, right?
I'm happy that someone got caught exploiting their position for political gain. I believe that an example should be made here. I'm not confident that will happen, but it'd be an important step toward preserving our experiment if it did.

The entire Trump RUSSSSIAAAAANNNNNZZZZZ! narrative was based on the Steele Dossier and no other facts/evidence.
The Dossier was created by Fusion GPS. Fusion GPS was paid by Clinton/DNC. Fusion then paid Steele to write the Dossier with his MI-6 credentials (not active at the time). Steele, as a foreign national and not subject to our restrictions on spying on US citizens, claimed the Russians had compromised Trump and had intel on him to include golden showers with hookers at Moscow hotels. (Yes, they took it to that level)
The FBI knew all of this in July 2016.
The Steele Dossier was then used by the FBI to get a FISA warrant to spy on Trump and his campaign. They also used Steele as a source. They didn't disclose any of this information to the FISA court in their application for the warrant. Again they knew the Dossier was bullshit.
The FBI renewed this warrant several times to continue their investigation. Still with the full knowledge all of this was false, likely hoping to catch Trump on something/anything.
At several times key FBI personnel including Comey and McCabe were asked about surveillance of Trump after Trump's tweet about being spied on at Trump Tower. They denied it. Under oath.
There are multiple examples of conflicts of interest. Bruce Ohr's wife worked for Fusion GPS while Ohr worked on the FISA warrant request. Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page texting about the need to construct an "insurance policy." Strzok was also instrumental in clearing Clinton in 2016. Multiple text messages lost/deleted. Allegedly recovered but I don't think they've been released.
The FISA aspect of this meant, even with knowledge of the warrant, no one could disclose. Even Sessions had to stay out. Up until the Nunes memo's release, there were cries of damaging national security to keep this conspiracy secret. The media has been able to lie to people's faces about Trump and RUSSSSSIAAAANZZZZZ! knowing Trump could not defend himself without releasing classified info--something he very publicly accused Clinton of doing in the 2016 campaign.
This conspiracy has voided the credibility of the FBI or anyone at DoJ to hold the President accountable. They have been outed as political hacks who helped aid in this attempted coup with the DNC and their media. Trump could have committed multiple Logan Act violations, there is no way to continue a legitimate investigation let alone impeach, indict, convict.
Trump could be indicted for obstruction of justice for asking Comey to go easy on Flynn but now that the entire investigation is a sham, how could that possibly move forward? People are even wondering about Flynn's guilty plea.

Thanks for the breakdown. I have a feeling that the results and punishments for all of this are going to be pretty dissatisfying.

Release of the memo on a Friday is telling. By Monday evening, the news cycle will have moved on, particularly since there's allegedly a football game Sunday that apparently means something to someone...
Plenty of time for the cockroaches to scurry back into the darkness, and Hillary's clean up squad to Arkancide any that might be able to give pertinent testimony..

Discussion is an exchange of intelligence. Argument is an exchange of
ignorance. Ever found a liberal that you can have a discussion with?
Libs have 18 months of their lives invested in this narrative. It isn't going away in a weekend. They're already talking about releasing their own memo which will keep it in the news.
Plus, this memo is the beginning. Now that the criminality is exposed the gloves can come off. Who knows what we'll learn going forward.

IMO if there is or was a smoking gun, by Sundays talking heads shows, it will be discredited and forgotten, come Monday morn. It should have been released closer to Nov.
