I overheard someone in the breakroom the other day saying. "I don't like regular bacon, I prefer turkey bacon"

What's the number to report commies again?

Costco has them most of the time. I got a 10 pounder a few weeks back, split it in quarters, and froze 3 of 'em. I split the other one and did 1 part with a maple syrup cure, and one half with pepper. It's what's for breakfast. As a note, unless you're willing to make your own all of the time, do NOT let your wife taste real home smoked bacon.

Damn, I can't remember the name of the place. A wholesaler in Commerce City. Minimum order was 100 lbs. I'll think of the name........

The problem with Turkey Bacon is calling it bacon and pretending its a reasonable facsimile of pork bacon. Much like Soy Milk is not a good substitute for milk, or Boca Burger patties are a good substitute for hamburger ... and Taco Bell is not a good substitute for Mexican food.

Stop pretending its a substitute and then it finds its place, so enjoy your fried turkey strips, your soy juice, boca patties and Taco Bell, just stop pretending they're Bacon, Milk, Hamburgers or Mexican food.

Its not the items themselves, its the deception that makes the world a darker place.
