There hasn't been a Zell Miller in the D party since...Zell Miller. And likely won't be another like him in our lifetimes.

Frankly, I'm happy to see open and proud communists unseat establishment Democrats. It's pretty hard for the rest of the party to deny what the party has become. I just wish they'd call themselves what they really are instead of socialists. If you're a commie, be proud of it and let everyone know.

I read some good analysis recently, wish I had saved it, that basically said Communism really hasn't been tried. They get stuck in Socialism because they can never realize the false promises of Communism.

To me, it's the same, you just have less/more Socialism. And it has the same street-level reality as Fascism--the only difference between the two are the lies the elite tell to obtain power.
