My post wasn't a defense of Democrats, so much as it was a suggestion that something new is emerging and treating it as the same old issue might lead to trouble.

You could be correct. On the other hand, it could just be that the real "democrat" has finally decided to "come out of the closet", so to speak. I don't think progressive/socialist/communist ideals have really changed. But the political climate that allows those on the left that lean that way to openly express their true desires is such that it's now OK to do so. And, naturally, they have a willing megaphone in the "mainstream" media to help broadcast the message.

Whatever it is, it has the potential to be really dangerous.

Gehenna, a small valley in Jerusalem, was the site of infanticide sacrifices which were conducted for the purpose of good crops, success, etc. This was during the period of the kings of Judah when they turned from God for a time. In other words, fiscal success was what they sought through the pagan worship of false gods (demons) and this by sacrificing children.

After they returned to worship of God, they considered the valley to be cursed. They wouldn't build on it. It became a trash heap, the local dump.

How does one get rid of trash in an arid environment? You burn it. What loves to be in a dump with all manner of organic waste? Worms, flies, bugs of various types. Because it was always smoldering, and yet also being consumed with worms, Christ references hell as Gehenna in Mark 9, which is also referencing Isaiah 66.

So yeah, if we wish to follow the modern Moloch-worshippers, sure. And then we too can both burn and be consumed by avarice in a slow roast of analogous death, amongst the trash.
