    I had F-16 buzz my house low enough to rattle the windows when I lived in Penrose...

    And I had a pair of A-10s so low they were lower than my house.

    Also had a stray paratrooper land in my neighbor's pasture.

    Grew up in the San Luis valley the jets pop over Hayden pass at the north end and haul ass south and go back over at la veta. They used to buzz the tractors during harvest all the time.

    It was a little freaky... but we lived just South of Ft. Carson- and saw them jumping out of perfectly good airplanes all the time. We figured it was a prank on a FNG, getting him to jump way too early. I'm sure it was way worse day for him- the liberal woman that lived there was none too pleased about it, but gave him a ride back to the gate.

    I guess an evolution of the expression is in order. I just didn't see any of them crash.
