Kind of amazing that a 5' 5", 18 year old woman with a shotgun can nearly paralyze an entire metro area school system. It's not the spetsnaz loose in the metro area.
Why does it matter that she's an average height woman? People don't care if a 6'4 250lb dude shoots their kid with a shotgun, or a girl shoots their kid with a shotgun. It's the part about their kid getting shot that they are concerned about.

I think that truly mental ill people don't make great decisions and she'll probably get roped up pretty quick. If cities are shutting down schools, there's got to be lots of pressure on the police to get her located quick.
