Don't like killing them but I don't want my dogs (or me/wife) to get bit. Mrs BG alerted me to this guy emerging from under the backyard garden shed, right under the door she was about to open. We suspected there might be one or more under there because our dogs have shown some interest in digging around the edge of it. He was 39" plus 4 1/2" lost during head-removal surgery with the shovel.
I bought a Judge when we moved here. I used to poo-poo them as being gimmicky. I've fired it twice now and killed two fairly good sized rattlesnakes. It's actually a pretty handy gun around here.

Little guys hanging out by my mother's front walkway. She asked me if they were baby rattlesnakes. I reached straight out & picked one up. Then I said, yes.
Her face was priceless. Giggle

We saw these cool tracks on our recent camping trip.
New over old.
Both old and new go all the way up the tree. There was a bobcat on the game camera.
I saw this guy while sitting in the normal afternoon traffic jam at N Quebec and Hwy 2 today.
And here is a house and some mountains we saw while we were in the wilderness.
