If I had to give odds, I'd say they'll be lucky to get 25-30% to vote for it if they can get it on the ballot.

The polling booth is a demonstration of idiots in small numbers. Specifically one at a time.
The reason we call it virtue signaling is because the signal itself is they have.
That's why this won't work. Now, if it was the state house, look out!!!
He's against this process because, like the oil and gas bill, the state will get a strong message from the folks/negative mandate. He'd rather "fix" this in the House where they can stage hearings, pretend they care, and then just force their will on the state.
