Go to Big R or Murdoch’s and buy a jug of 2-4, D it comes in concentrations up to 60+ % and then you can dilute it down to the concentration you want. The Home Depot pre mixed stuff is a waste of time. If you have woody/brushy extra tough weeds look for a 2-4,D and dicamba blend, just don’t apply that anywhere near the drip line of trees or shrubs because dicamba works through leaf contact and through the roots after being watered in.

The glyphosphate products are bare ground herbicides and kill everything including grass.

Don't mix concentrates stronger. Stronger isn't better & in cases of Weed-B-Gone & Round-up... It's worse. You don't want it "stronger" as it will ruin the uptake channels that kill the plant. This is a common misconception when it comes to weed killers. For the same reason, you want the plant healthy. This means watering regularly before spraying. A day or two leading up to application you want the plants to be watered, hydrated & healthy. Then, upon spraying, you want them dry & for the few hours following application no moisture. Then, water regularly as this all makes them healthy enough to actually take the poison in properly. If the weeds are dry they go into shock & won't process the poison fully. These are the most common mistakes people make with application.

To the OP and others, when buying WBG, reach to the rear of the shelf to grab the gallon pre-mix. Then open the cap and make sure it has a milky (watery milky) color. Don’t grab the ones on the front of the shelf , that is where the returns are put. One time, I must have gotten a return that was poured out into another container, filled with tap water, then returned to to the store. After I noticed it wasn’t working on the weeds, I opened the cap and I swear it was filled with tap water.

Probably, picked up a smaller boxed xmas tree a year or two back. Assholes had returned it with some rinky dink pos old xmas tree that was clearly used/not the one that was supposed to be in the package.

I just started using TruGreen earlier this year and I?ve been pleased with the general fertilizing and sprinkler repairs they did, but coincidentally I am arguing with them right now trying to get them to come out for another application of herbicide in my rock garden because the weeds are coming back. Since the rock garden herbicide was a one time treatment they?re saying there was no guarantee.

Screw TruGreen. Bunch of hustlers that will bother you until the day you die if they ever get your number or address.
