    The biggest numbers I’ve personally seen are 500+ birds just after they came out of the roost. A sea of black in a corn field. This was in Colorado.

    That used to be a common sight in Nebraska. My turkey hunting buddies said they would see 30+ toms in full strut. The farmers would say the same thing and how the numbers are down significantly all over the state. Colorado seems to be on the rise however

    Never seen that many all together. But it's common to see 10 or 15 rafters of them that would probably total that in a short drive down the road. They're everywhere up here.
